Council will get their first look at the Net Zero strategy.
The initiative, according to Current River councillor Andrew Foulds, will cover what the future holds for Thunder Bay and how to combat Climate Change.
“How are the citizens of Thunder Bay going to take their responsibilities for the next 20 to 25 years in terms of dealing with Climate Change?” Foulds asked, when discussing the plan.
Foulds, who’s also the Chair of the EarthCare Advisory Committee, added there is a public consultation piece to the initiative which will launch in the coming months.
The memo indicated that the recommendations will be back before council on June 7th.
