A fire dealt significant damage to a north-side home.
Firefighters were called to Arundel Street near Hodder Avenue around nine o’clock Sunday morning where they found heavy smoke coming from one side of a duplex.
Crews called for backup and were able to bring the fire under control, keeping it from spreading to the other half of the duplex. They evacuated the home and confirm that nobody was hurt.
Fire investigators haven’t determined the cause yet, and have taken control of the scene.
