A refrigerator fire brought firefighters to an Egan Street home, but they quickly had it under control.
Crews were called to Egan between Cumberland Street North and Court Street North just after nine o’clock Friday night.
While they found plenty of smoke coming from a basement apartment when they arrived, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue officials say that in the end they had no trouble putting the fire out with an extinguisher.
Nobody was hurt.
