Active Case Count Remains Below 200

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting another drop in the active case count to 163.

However officials report the 54th death of the pandemic due to coronavirus.

Just nine new cases reported on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday:

  • Two people got the virus while at home from someone else
  • Three others got it from outside the house
  • One case has no known exposure
  • Three cases are still waiting for results of how they got it

In Ontario a combined 5,979 cases over the last two days along with 22 deaths.
