GIRLS NIGHT OUT

This week on girls night out Cairo and I talked about wings which are a perfect snack for a girls night out how do you like your wings? sauced? dry rub? different flavors? How about drums or Flats? We also talked about Easter and any family traditions you might have. We also picked out a cocktail for the week as well as a recipe and a tv show that Cairo suggested for me to watch (I don’t know if I’m gonna like it or not but I am willing to give it three episodes) I’ll have my rate and review posted here next week maybe you can check it out too and let us know what you think!! COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK: MINI EGG MARTINI

How to make:

Step 1: Crush up some mini eggs to rim your glass with and store it in the fridge until your ready to pour in the drink.

Step 2: Pour the crème de cacao, Baileys and vodka into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice and shake until the outside of the shaker feels really cold. Strain into your glass and viola.

Ingredients:

  • Ice
  • A bag of mini eggs
  • 25ml Crème de cacao
  • 25ml Vodka of your choice
  • 25ml Baileys
  • 1 tsp Honey (optional)

RECIPE OF THE WEEK: VEGETARIAN LASAGNA

How to make:

Step 1: Cook your lasagna noodles and plant based ground beef.

Step 2: Let your noodles cool down a bit. Add tomato sauce to your plant based ground beef let that simmer and preheat oven to 350.

Step 3: Start by placing lasagna noodles in the pan next spread the ricotta cheese on them next add your tomato sauce with plant based meat and sprinkle with cheese. Repeat until pan is full.

Step 4: Tent your pan with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.

Step 5: Remove aluminum foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 6: Cut and serve

Ingredients:

  • Lasagna noodles
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Tomato sauce
  • Plant based meat of your choice I like to use Lightlife
  • Italian style cheese
