No Arrest Reported In Standoff

Police continue to investigate a southside standoff but no arrest has been announced.

They tell us the Friday night firearm incident began earlier in the day when a person went to the regional hospital for treatment of serious injuries which were not considered life-threatening.

Police say that lead them to an address on Cumming Street between McKenzie and May.

That is where a standoff began and lasted about five hours.

The street had been guarded by police ever since and it was only open to traffic today.
