The pandemic has resulted in some confusion on the status of health cards, driver’s licences and licence plate stickers.
The Ontario government has extended expiry dates if you need to renew your licence plate sticker, driver’s licence, health card, Ontario photo card or accessible parking permit.
It’s expected to limit paper renewal reminders for those documents starting in July.
Provincial officials say the best way to ensure your material isn’t expired is signing up for the provincial alert system.
It will send you digital reminders 60 and 30 days before it’s time for renewal.
