Update: Spring Snowstorm Hits Region

Update 12:30pm, Wednesday:

It appears traffic problems west of Thunder Bay have been cleared.

The Ontario 511 website shows a jackknifed transport truck is no longer blocking Highway 17, west of Shabaqua. Traffic was getting by on the shoulders.

The weather has made driving more treacherous, and is expected to keep doing so as more snow is expected into Thursday morning.

Cleared: #Incident #Shabaqua #HWY17 at DM 472 (7km north of #HWY11 jct), all lanes are reopened.
