COVID-19 Hits St. Elizabeth School

The coronavirus has appeared at a south side elementary school.

The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board reports a person at St. Elizabeth School has tested positive for COVID-19.

The board adds “The cohort will remain home and a thorough cleaning and disinfection process will be underway within the school.”

Officials indicate the situation impacts a school bus cohort and will be contacted by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.
