21 New COVID-19 Cases

The local health unit is reporting 21 new COVID-19 cases.

Here’s the breakdown:

  • One new case in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre
  • 18 cases obtained through close contact
  • Two cases tied to the Thunder Bay District Jail outbreak
  • One exposure cause not known
  • One case cause pending

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit also says that 14 cases have been resolved.

The new cases means the active count is up to 166.

The Northwestern Health Unit reports 22 new cases with 89 active cases.

In the province 847 new COVID-19 cases and 10 deaths.
