Active COVID-19 Cases Changes Again

More cases of COVID-19 Wednesday for Thunder Bay’s district, but also more resolved.

The local health unit tells us five more people are infected, two from the East-West Tie project, one from the Thunder Bay jail and two from close contact.

However, 18 people are listed as resolved, with the current case count at 73.

Two of the five are from Thunder Bay, and three from district communities.

There are currently two people in hospital, one in intensive care.

Now, the health unit also says the results of six cases announced yesterday have been changed. The individuals have been notified they are not positive, due to lab issues, and retesting will be done.

Provincially, there are over 2,600 new cases today, with 89 deaths.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
