Quicker internet service is coming to Thunder Bay and surrounding areas.
The provincial government is spending $10.9-million throughout the north, enabling users also in Oliver-Paipoonge, Marathon and Terrace Bay the ability to access high-speed broadband.
The money will help build a 22-km fibre system, threading through many First Nation communities.
In total, the province says it is investing almost a billion dollars over six years across Ontario.
