I’m a HUGE Muppet fan. From the Muppet Show, to the Muppet Movies, to Sesame Street, Fraggles, Labyrinth….so many amazing shows. I wasn’t a big fan of the Muppet Babies cartoon, but that’s really just splitting hairs (not that I have any of those left to split!).
One of the things I have been (im)patiently waiting for on Disney+ since it launched has been the original Muppet Show series. I LOVED that when I was a kid! So many great guest stars, from Vincent Price and Alice Cooper to Elton John and Mark Hammill…almost every person I thought was ‘cool’ at the time showed up at some point. Well today it was announced that all 5 seasons of the original Muppet show will be coming to Disney+ in February!! I’m going to have to seriously consider taking some vacation time next month….
The Muppet Show debuts on Disney+ on February 19th.
