COVID-19 Case Load Inches Up In District

10 more cases of COVID-19 reported by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

It says nine of those are the result of Sunday testing at the Southbridge Roseview long-term care home.

The tenth case is from the Thunder Bay area and got the virus being around someone else with it, and is self-isolating.

The brings the total case load to 386 for the district since March, while currently, there are 114 active cases, yesterday there were 110.

Of those, three are in hospital, one in intensive care, and there have been five deaths to date.

In Ontario today, there are 1,676 new cases, and ten deaths.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
