90-Year-Old First To Be Vaccinated

A 90-year-old woman from the U.K. is the first recipient of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine which she described it as the “best early birthday present”.

Margaret Keenan turns 91 next week and said she felt priviliged to be the first person to get the vaccine.

Her vaccine was the first of 800,000 doses to be distributed to people over the age of 80.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson told the first recipients getting the shot it was good for the whole country.

The second recipient of the vaccine is an 81-year-old man named William Shakespeare.

Up to 4-million additional doses of the vaccine are expected in the United Kingdom by the end of December.
