A convincing fake handgun caught police’s attention over the weekend.
On Saturday night, officers got reports of a man with a gun in at a home on North Cumberland Street between Gibson and Powley Streets.
While it turned out to be plastic, police say it was painted to look real.
They have arrested a 33-year-old man and charged him with carrying a concealed weapon.
