Two separate drug incidents on the city’s north side lead to a bevy of charges against seven individuals.
The first one happening around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday as police executed a raid at a residence on Algoma Street South.
Officers collected a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, cash and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
A 48 year old from Thunder Bay faces charges of:
- Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Then at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday police searching a home on Secord Street, turning up suspected crack cocaine, suspected cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia.
Two from Thunder Bay and one from Oliver Paipoonge face charges of:
- Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession off Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
- Failure to Comply with a Judicial Release
- Three counts of Breach of Probation
