Province Reducing Park Fees

The Ford government says it is making it more affordable to go to a provincial park next year.

The province says it is slashing the price of annual day-use vehicle permits by up to 36 percent.

Starting next year the new cost will be $99 dollars instead of $155.

As well summer permits are being reduced to $75 dollars from the current $111.

Winter permits are going down to $60 dollars next year, a drop of $15.

The province is also increasing the number of day-use vehicle permits that can be borrowed free of charge from public libraries.
