More Cases Of COVID-19 Locally

Seven new cases of COVID-19 are being reported by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

The only information we are told is that the 119th case, since the pandemic started in March, got the virus while travelling.

Cases 120 to 125 contracted it through close contact with someone already infected.

All are self-isolating, and from the Thunder Bay and surrounding area.

There are currently eight active cases for the local health unit.

The health unit adds none of these cases have implications for the case reported Friday for the Lakehead Public School Board.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
