A Neebing community is benefiting from a mix-up involving Swoop Airlines.
The airline recently announced it would be flying out of Pearson, prompting an excited tweet from someone claiming to be a resident of Pearson Township in Neebing.
The user tweeted she couldn’t believe Swoop would be flying out of her hometown.
Swoop clarified they meant Pearson International Airport, but to make up for the confusion they’re sponsoring a new skating rink for Pearson Township.
