Ontario Budget 2020: A Preview

A three-year financial outlook from the Provincial Conservatives today.

Minister of Finance Rod Phillips indicates the 2020 Budget will build on the government’s $30 billion response to COVID-19.

Those funds made available from the Province’s Action Plan: Responding to COVID-19.

Expect it to also include some of the recommendations put forward by municipal leaders, including Mayor Bill Mauro.

Phillips adds the government will get back on the traditional budget calendar by the end of March 2021.

Acadia Broadcasting will have lots of local reaction after the budget is laid out.
