Trees Cut Back For Safety: Hydro

Hydro One is pointing to safety as to why many trees in the south end has been majorly trimmed back.

It was a number of days ago when trees along a stretch of Walsh Street were visibly cut back, something the utility says was needed as some were growing too close to power lines, or were not healthy.

Hydro One adds it met with homeowners before hand.

It also says there are plans to replant low growing vegetation in the area.
