Watch: A Tour of Eddie Van Halen’s Home Studio

There are a lot of stories, tributes and insight being offered up in the wake of Eddie Van Halen’s passing a couple of weeks ago. One of the coolest ones I’ve seen so far has been this look into Eddie’s home studio (5150) that he built back in 1983. The video comes courtesy of MTV‘s facebook and the 7 minute clip is a little tour of Eddie’s studio as well as some stories to go along with it, courtesy of Van Halen himself! You can see him showing MTV host Chris Connolly around the studio, the tape room and talking guitars as well as kids! I thought it was a pretty neat little clip even though it was shot back in 1998!
