The discovery of COVID-19 at Valleyview School in Kenora is still under investigation.
The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is working closely with the Northwestern Health Unit and officials say it’s too early to know for sure there was transmission in the school.
They aren’t ruling that possibility out at this time.
There are no new confirmed cases and those infected and their close contacts have been told to self-isolate.
The school remains open to students who haven’t been identified as close contacts.
