A man is in Winnipeg hospital in serious condition after he was hit by a vehicle northeast of Thunder Bay.
Provincial Police say it happened in an area off of Highway 102, Wednesday afternoon around 2:15. When they arrived they found the man unconscious.
Police say 63-year-old Douglas Witol of Thunder Bay now faces one count of attempted murder.
Witol made his first court appearance today.
