BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE! The Boss is back and he’s bringing E Street with him!
Today Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band announced a new studio album , called Letter to You, set to drop on October 23rd. Bruce says the recording of the album, done in less than a week, was a unique process:
“I love the sound of the E Street Band playing completely live in the studio, in a way we’ve never done before, and with no overdubs. We made the album in only five days, and it turned out to be one of the greatest recording experiences I’ve had.”
In addition to 9 new songs, Letter to You will feature three unreleased (but newly recorded) tunes that Bruce wrote before the release of his 1973 debut album Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.
