Two people have been fined $1,000 each for not wearing a face mask on a flight in Canada.
Transport Canada says it’s the first time anyone has been charged since the new requirements went into place.
The first incident happened June 14th on a WestJet flight from Calgary to Waterloo, Ontario.
The other took place July 7th on board another WestJet flight, this one from Vancouver to Calgary.
