1,000 km/hour Hyperloop Coming to Canada?

THE FUTURE IS HERE! Well almost here. And by here, I mean in Alberta.

People could be travelling between Calgary and Edmonton in SUPER speed after the AB government signed an agreement with a Canadian transport tech group called TransPod. The deal will see them develop and test a high-speed hyperloop between Cowtown and the City of Champions. If it all works out, they’d be up and running in 2025.

The drive between the two cities typically takes about 3 hours. The TransPod hyperloop, with pods travelling up to 1,000 km an hour in a low-pressure tube, would take 30 minutes. Imagine? You’re in Edmonton and want to hit up the Calgary Stampede for the afternoon, BOOM! You’re there!

Unreal! I want one!!!! Where would you like to have a hyperloop go to from T-Bay?
