Brendan Bouchard of Aroland First Nation is the latest to win money from the Ontario Lottery Gaming Commission.
Bouchard won $250,000 on an Instant Cash Club ticket.
Brendan, a 32-year old father of one, was at home with his mom when he discovered his win. “I also bought a ticket for my mom – she played first and won $60,” he smiled, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. “Then I played my ticket and saw that I had won $250,000. I had to ask her to double-check.”
This has been a difficult year for Brendan’s family. “My sister passed away last year. She used to buy me INSTANT tickets every once in a while. I feel her close to us right now, and am so grateful for this win,” he shared.
Brendan plans to share his winnings with his family. “This is my opportunity to take care of them,” he concluded.
