The City of Thunder Bay is welcoming the third phase of the province’s plans to reopen but needs more time to get ready.
Northwestern Ontario will officially be in the third stage on Friday where bars, restaurants, casinos, movie theatres and many other businesses will be allowed to reopen.
However, the city says they need additional time to receive and review the appropriate provincial Orders, which have yet to be published.
They add once the Orders are received, reopening plans will be finalized and additional announcements communicated as more City programs, services, facilities, and amenities reopen to the public.
