There’s been a pent up demand for houses in Thunder Bay.
Thunder Bay’s Real Estate Board President Andrew Lawrence said they saw sales increase by 30 percent last month.
“With everything being shut down and held back in April and May, those people started to step back into the market and look for the homes they need,” Lawrence said.
The Thunder Bay Real Estate Board president says June was an awesome month for sales and hopes it will continue in the future.
“The indications are good, the market is strong. There are still a lot of buyers out there and I think the market will continue to be strong in July and August. I think we will do well,” Lawrence added.
