New COVID-19 Cases For NW Health Unit

A jump in the number of new COVID-19 cases in the Kenora and Rainy River Districts.

The Northwestern Health Unit reports the latest in the Sioux Lookout area where there are six active cases, including two new ones reported Thursday.

Officials are now making contact with anyone who may have been in close contact with the individuals.

The latest cases bring to 36, the number of COVID-19 in the Health Unit’s catchment area since the start of the pandemic.
