A 30-year old Thunder Bay man is facing a number of charges after a traffic stop near Wawa.
Provincial police say at around 7:30, Monday night, they pulled a vehicle over for speeding. The driver gave a false name, then recanted that with his correct name, and then further investigation found he had multiple driving suspensions, at which time he was arrested.
Police add a large amount of money was found, which was seized as proceeds of crime.
He was also charged with having cannabis readily available.
Police say he, and a 32-year old Barrie man, who was charged for possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, were released and will appear in court next month in Wawa.
