Jury selection for the second-degree murder trial of Thunder Bay’s Brayden Bushby is now set for October 5th.
The 21-year-old’s three week trial was originally to be held in January but was rescheduled for April. The COVID-19 pandemic caused the April court date to be rescheduled to the fall.
Bushby initially was charged with aggravated assault after an alleged incident in January 2017 that involved a trailer hitch thrown out of a moving vehicle at the now deceased Barbara Kentner.
The trial is still scheduled for three weeks.
