Pandemic Safety Plan Developed For Businesses

Employers can now create a safer working environment as they reopen during the pandemic.

Provincial Labour Minister Monte McNaughton explains the government has developed a safety plan they can follow.

“We need workers to be safe on the job, to feel confident coming back to work as well as we need customers to feel confident entering a place of business,” notes the labour minister.

McNaughton calls it a template for businesses to safely reopen their operations adding the government encourages “employers and employees really to work together to identify those risks where COVID-19 could spread within their business and to shut down those risks.”

The government’s Workplace Safety Plan is available online.
