Survey Looks At COVID-19 Coping

There’s a new online survey gauging how laid off employees have been doing in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The North Superior Workforce Planning Board is behind the initiative and Executive Director Madge Richardson says they are trying to capture people’s personal experiences.

Richardson explains they want to hear from people about how they’ve been coping.

“The stress as a result of the social distancing–not seeing your friends, not feeling involved, and feeling very much alone–that’s a reality many people are facing, so we want to get some feedback there,” she says.

The North Superior Workforce Planning Board is also looking into what has been working with federal and provincial COVID-19 relief programs and what needs to be changed.

The Board intends to share the results with the provincial and federal governments.
