A suspected hit and run driver is the subject of a search for by Thunder Bay police, who they believe purposely tried to hit another motorist.
They say around 2 o’clock in the afternoon, last Monday, they were called to a crash scene at 850 May Street, between a car and motorcycle, but found the car had left.
Police say the car was following the motorcycle closely on Syndicate Avenue, then passed it on the curb, with the motorcycle following until they reached May Street.
The motorcycle driver felt the car was trying to hit him, so he drove towards the Silver City parking lot on Northern, when the car sped up and knocked him over.
Police are looking for a man in possibly a 2000-2005 Honda Civic.
