Attempted Murder Charge In South End Assault

A 25-year-old Fort Frances man is charged with attempted murder after a serious assault that sent another man to the hospital.

Thunder Bay Police arrested him early this morning in connection with the assault that happened on Thursday.

Officers found him when they were alerted to two people with knives in an apartment building on May Street South between Victoria Avenue and George Street.

They identified the man as the same suspect from the James Street assault.

He’s set to appear in court on Monday.
