LISTEN: T-Bay’s First Ever Neighbour Day!

On Saturday, June 20th, we make history! It’s Thunder Bay’s FIRST EVER Neighbour Day!

A fantastic opportunity to connect with our neighbours and celebrate the spirit and giant heart of our communities. Due to COVID-19, we’ll be getting creative in our Neighbour Day activities.

Today I really enjoyed chatting with Trisha Heino from the City of Thunder Bay. She let us know all about the inaugural event, its origins, how we can celebrate and more!

Check out the interview below.

The City has so many cool things to help us celebrate. The Neighbour Day Toolkit has a bunch of awesome stuff including printable cards, graphics that you can use to show your neighbourhood and neighbours some love on social media, activities and more! check out the City of Thunder Bay’s official Neighbour Day page by clicking HERE!

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
