#Tbaycation Contest Launched

If you go out this summer and explore Thunder Bay you could win a prize from the city’s tourism branch.

Manager Paul Pepe tells us they’ve launched Tbaycation and says its a way of kick-starting our tourism industry again.

“The first people to support our local industry is going to be locals. But then also to share your photos of local attractions with your followers and friends and family. It will whet people’s appetite about planning a future trip as well,” Pepe said.

You are encouraged to take photos of local landmarks and tourist hotspots with the #Tbaycation. If your photo is selected you could win a prize pack made up of gift cards and other goodies from local businesses.
