With major sports on hold at the moment, people have been taking solace in the ESPN 10-part documentary, The Last Dance. The doc, which follows Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls through the 1997-1998 season, has been a monster hit. Not only has it garnered big ratings, it’s also been a meme factory on social media. The final episode featured a scene with Mike sitting on the team bus, wearing his headphones and grooving to tunes. The internet is all over it. In fact, an account called Michael Jordan Jamming Out was created and has been pumping out His Airness busting a move to all kinds of different tunes, including some 99.9 The Bay favourites!
Check out a slew of them below, but first … one of our own! We all know that our Just a Sec theme is one of the catchiest tunes in human history, but we didn’t know that The G.O.A.T. was such a big fan!
Who knew Michael Jordan was such a big fan of our Just A Sec theme song? A hoops legend, but can he guess the artist and title of a song based off a 1 second clip? Give it a go, MJ, every weekday morning around 7:35 and you could win a tasty treat from @DQCanada! #jordanjamming pic.twitter.com/H8Ca1htASM
