Following some public backlash on social media, the Thunder Bay Health Unit is clarifying their position on whether or not it is safe to hold mini-parades for loved one’s birthdays and other milestones.
Yesterday, the public health unit posted a number of suggestions for celebrations rather than taking part in a vehicle parade and suggesting it was unsafe to do so.
Since then, they’ve received some comments on social media and now ask that if you do take part in a parade that you take some precautions in doing so.
