Timeline Reveals Methodical Killing Spree By Nova Scotia Gunman

The horrific timeline of what happened during the mass shooting in rural Nova Scotia has been revealed by the RCMP.

Superintendent Darren Campbell says officers arrived in the Portapique area shortly before 10:30 p-m Saturday after getting a report of a shooting at a home.

Campbell says 13 people were found dead in more than seven locations, and they found several structures on fire.

Officers later learned the suspect was driving a replica R-C-M-P vehicle, wearing a police uniform, and had several firearms. Police also revealed the gunman owned several vehicles that looked like police cars.

In a second series of events more than 12 hours later, the suspect killed three people at one home, a woman out walking, and two drivers.

He also shot and killed Constable Heidi Stevenson, who’d collided with his replica police vehicle, a passerby at the scene and a woman at a nearby home before being fatally shot by police at a gas station in Enfield.

The end result was a death toll of 23 people including the gunman.
