Some HUGE reboots for those of us who did time in the eighties and nineties. NBC’s upcoming streaming service Peacock (launching July 15th but now available to Xfinity customers) is bringing back some classic characters and we now have a first look! Saved by the Bell and Punky Brewster have returned and some of the stars are back as well.
First, back to Bayside! Mario Lopez’s Slater is now a gym teacher at the high school, Elizabeth Berkley also returns as Jessie Spano. You’ll be happy to hear that Zack and Kelly have a kid together, and Mac Morris is a Bayside student, along with Jessie’s son! Oh, and Zack is THE GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA!!!!

Next up, a sequel series to another one near-and-dear to my heart. Soleil Moon Frye is back as eighties icon Punky Brewster!!! Punky is now a single mom to three kids and meets a girl who reminds her of herself when she was young. Freddie Prinze Jr. is in the mix as Punky’s ex-hubby.
