10 New COVID-19 Cases In Thunder Bay Area

Thunder Bay’s District Health Unit is reporting ten new COVID-19 cases in the city and the surrounding area.

One of the cases is in a 70-year-old man who is from a First Nation community and who has been hospitalized due to the illness.

Another of the new cases is a man in his 60s who was working in the Lac Des Iles mine and who is now self-isolating. There are two other cases in this recent group of people that tested positive that were also workers at the Lac Des Iles mine.

We now have 46 confirmed coronavirus cases in the region with 20 of them resolved.
