Hospital Treating Confirmed & Presumptive COVID Cases

There are three patients currently being treated for confirmed COVID-19 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science’s Centre.

Hospital Executive Vice-President Dr. Stewart Kennedy says one of the patients is in the Intensive Care Unit but is not on a ventilator.

The other two patients are being treated in another part of the hospital.

All three are isolated from the rest of the hospital patients and staff treating them are wearing personal protective equipment.

The hospital is also providing care to 18 presumptive coronavirus cases.
