Contributions are still coming into the COVID-19 Community Relief Fund.
It is a joint venture between the United Way at the Thunder Bay Community Foundation to help charities through the current pandemic.
The latest corporation donation comes from Bombardier.
The company’s $25,000 gift matches the same amount granted by Resolute Forest Products last week.
Total contributions to the fund so far total $229,000.
Incidentally, the fund’s name has been changed from the Community Response Fund to reflect what organizers say is the partnership between the two organizations.
