Thunder Bay City Council is meeting tonight, but you won’t be allowed to attend.
If you want to follow along, the meeting will still be broadcast on television and live-streamed on the city’s website. City officials say you can make your views known by contacting City Clerk Krista Power by email, letter, or phone. Your messages may be read aloud at the meeting if relevant to the topic at hand.
There will be mandatory social distancing for those at the meeting, along with reminders to follow proper hand hygiene.
The city announced last week it would only schedule Council meetings “as required to ensure business continuity and compliance with legislation.”
