That Little Ol’ Band From Texas

This past weekend I had the chance to (finally!) watch the ZZ Top documentary, ‘That Little Ol’ Band From Texas’ on Netflix. I’ll be honest, as much as I like ZZ Top, I didn’t know too much of the back story of the band, and the documentary was pretty enlightening. It was done by the same team (Banger Films) who brought us the ‘Beyond the Lighted Stage‘ documentary on Rush as well as the Alice Cooper documentary, ‘Super Duper Alice Cooper‘. I’ve seen almost every documentary that Banger Films has done and every one of them has been top notch. I highly recommend that you check out more of their output if you haven’t seen them already. My only complaint with the ZZ Top documentary is that it ends too early. I would have loved to have seen more about what has been going on with the band in recent years, but I guess they need to end somewhere! Perhaps there will be a part 2 eventually! Check out the trailer for the documentary below!

In case you were unaware, ZZ Top is coming to town in May to play the TBCA once again. If you click the poster below, it will take you right to the TBCA site and you can see if there are any tickets left!!
