I am constantly amazed by what people’s passions will lead them to. Garren Lazar has been mashing up Peanuts animation (you know, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, etc.) with popular classic songs like Bohemian Rhapsody for a while now, and I’ve posted a couple of those videos from his youtube below. Some of my favourites are his mashups of Pink Floyd and Peanuts cartoons, recreating the classic cartoons as if they were Pink Floyd music videos. This past August though, he released something that was above and beyond what I had seen before, and frankly kind of mind blowing! Lazar has taken the entire ‘The Wall’ movie by Pink Floyd and mashed it together with Peanuts cartoons setting a whole new spin on both the original movie and some of these Peanuts cartoons. Not sure how Charles M. Schulz would feel about this but, I think it’s pretty cool!
